- Hospital
The Ulss 12 Veneziana has given the Jona pavilion back to the Ospedale Civile. It was restored and transformed in the ‘New Hospital’ of Venice. It was one of the historical pavilions of the hospital, used until 2000 and closed since then as no more able to host its activities. The Jona building is now back for its first use, with an enlarged and restructured plan. Its building site was realized and completed in an historical and delicate context. With its dimensions, its spaces and modern equipment, as well as its warm coloured walls, Jona pavilion flanks Gaggia Pavilion and Semerani as the new barycenter of the hospital. The new Jona will host the Pediatrics section, the Sub-Intensive Infant and Maternity section, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medicine and Rheumatology, Pulmonology and Nephrology, Medicine, Medicine and Rheumatology, Geriatrics and long rehabilitative hospitalisation, as well as Haemodialysis. There are more than 10.000 m2 of intervention, for 192 beds.
