ETS® Sleeve protection is for plastic and/or corrugated pipes with cables, placedonwall. It has to be used when the pipes are installed in areas where the building support is damaged and/or there is an annular space around the services. Take advantage of the annular space to install ETS® Sleeve, which can be placed in a battery next to the others, if present on the same passageway. If the pipes are oblique, install ETS®Sleeve, which results to be disengaged from the position of the building support. Therefore, this application will solve the problem of compartmentalization of non-orthogonal crossings. The maximum angle that a pipe can have at the entering point of a wall is 50°. ETS® Sleeve has a major lenght of the standard model on inclinated pipes. It is fixed to the wall by using ETS® Paste, posed on the protective and fixed on the building support. The left space of the passageway is closed with ETS® Panel.

Description
ETS® Sleeve is a protective product for plastic and corrugated pipes that contain cables. It is designed to be incorporated in the wall after the passage of the pipes. It is longitudinally open, gets widened and then wrapped around them. It is successively closed and fixed by using metallic tabs, that are provided with the product itself. Once the pipes closed, the device gets pushed against the wall, until it is placed in the ideal centre of the wall. The pipes that can be protected by ETS® Sleeve are those that mostly contribute to the fire loading, as those made of PE and/or PP. According to the EN1366-3 standard, by testing this type of pipes we can obtain results that are applicable on other typologies, such as PVC or ABS.
ETS® Sleeve is particularly recommended for layings that are not rectilinear or oblique, with pipes that run with wide radius (pneumatic post) or that obliquely cross the wall. The maximum certified angle is 50°. In this case, the lenght of the given sleeve is 220 mm. ETS® Sleeve is therefore certified for wall-crossing passageways having pipes set in close batteries (see dedicated sheets). Corrugated pipes containing cables are assembled in truss and protected with ETS® Sleeve. It is also possible to protect corrugated and mixted with plastic pipes, if present in the same crossing point.
Laying
Clean the pipes from possible residual deposits of previous building processes or other.
Laying in passageways: Lay ETS® Sleeve on pipes and fix it to the wall by using ETS® Paste until the top ETS® Sleeve. ETS® Paste works as a binder between the protections and the building support. The left space must be stemmed with ETS® Panel. ETS® Sleeve must be centered, compared with the waist axis of the wall.
Laying on the oblique pipes: Lay ETS® Sleeve on the oblique pipes and fix it to the wall by using ETS® Paste until the top of ETS® Sleeve. ETS® Paste works as a binder between protections and the building support. The left space must be stemned with ETS® Panel. ETS® Sleeve must be centred, compared with the waist axis of the wall.
Laying on pipes of dedicated crossing: Lay ETS® Sleeve on the annular space around the pipes (or obtain the space). It is possible to install the device even before the wall is realised and make the mastic sealing after it is finished.
